We began our journey of building disc brake kits using a 1976 F250 Dana 44 Open-Knuckle axle for a customer. It quickly turned into a
conquest to build more brake kits to stop all classic F250s in modern times! We now offer kits that fit all 1976-79 Ford F250 4×4 trucks
with the Dana 44 or 60 Open-Knuckle, high & low pinion axles. These are direct bolt-on kits, and provide far superior stopping power
over your old 1970s disc brakes. We send you our Halt CNC machined caliper brackets, OEM-spec rotors, Wilwood calipers and pads,
and all the hardware necessary for an easy direct bolt-on installation. The calipers can be purchased in grey anodized, or black or red
powder coat. All PRD Design Halt Braking Systems products are designed and manufactured in the USA!

These kits only fit 1976-79 F250 4×4 trucks with the front Dana 44 or Dana 60, high & low pinion axles. If your truck has a Dana
44 Closed-Knuckle axle, this kit will not fit. Please refer to our Closed-Knuckle brake kit. Call us if you do not know what axle

**A master cylinder designed for disc brakes is required for proper disc brake operation. For this kit, we offer and recommend
the Wilwood Tandem Compact Master Cylinder, 1-1/8 inch bore, kit.

***If you are keeping your rear drum brakes, you will need a residual pressure valve installed in your rear brake line. Without
this valve, your rear drums will not work properly. We offer a Wilwood residual pressure valve, just add it to your order.
